Calls for Art
The Ruth Wells Center for the Arts is accepting gallery exhibition proposals from fine artists throughout the year. Whether you're an individual artist, part of a collaborative group, or from a school, we invite you to submit your proposals! Our board reviews submissions monthly.

We have several upcoming dates in 2024 when we’d love to have you come show or vend with us.

The annual Ruth Wells Center Members’ Exhibit. This is always an eclectic, wonderful mix of many different artists, styles, media, and approach. All media are welcome. Submissions are limited to two pieces per artist and drop-off deadline is Friday, September 6. If you are not a Member and would like to participate, visit our membership page to join us. October 5 - 27
Halloweekend and Haunted Halls is creeping up! Artists with a dark side wanted, to show in our gallery during the haunted month. All media are welcome. Bring us your creepiest creations. Vintage horror movie posters, vintage horror comics, horror figures and other haunted collectibles and ephemera are also welcome to exhibit. Please make sure any shrunken heads and other body parts are properly preserved for display so as to not offend the senses.
The opening Halloween Party reception on Saturday October 5 will run from 6 - 10 pm. Sunday the 6th (rain date October 13) will see the gallery exhibit open from 12 - 4 pm, with vendors, pick your own pumpkins, pumpkin painting and scarecrow building on the lawn. Angry Panda Food Co. will be serving up food truck treats. For the rest of the month the gallery will be open weekends 12 - 4 pm, or by appointment.
