Calls for Art
We accept gallery exhibition proposals from fine artists throughout the year. Whether you're an individual artist, part of a collaborative group, or from a school, we invite you to submit your proposals! Our board reviews submissions monthly.
The gallery is four beautiful rooms in a historic, 200-year-old landmark house in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The atmosphere is restful, and geared to show off the art to its best advantage.
If you show here, you’ll have both full support and full freedom - we’re on hand to help as little or as much as you wish. Your exhibits will be lit perfectly by a former community theater backstage tech. Your opening day receptions will be presented with care. We work closely with every artist to achieve their vision of how their show should be. We promote for you, and work with you as co-promoters. If you would like to hold a joint show with another artist or artists, we can do that.
We ask that submissions to ruthwellsart@gmail.com include at least four clear images of what you’d like to show, with a short bio and description of why and how you do what you do. Specific terms and conditions will be sent to you if you contact us by email.
Artists showing here are required to be Members of the Ruth Wells Center. To become a Member, please visit our Members page. Please note that if you become a Member, you can show two of your works each in our Members' Exhibit every September, and our Haunted Halls month every October.
Thank you for your interest! We look forward to hearing from you.
