Welcome

- Enrich and enlighten
through
creative exploration of the arts -

The Ruth Wells Center for the Arts is a non-profit membership and volunteer-based cultural arts association. We are fully dedicated to perpetuating the arts through our annual events, exhibits and workshops; along with collaborating with other local cultural art centers and institutions.

Our events and educational programs are for people of all ages and skill levels. They are scheduled throughout the calendar year, including evenings and weekends. Classes, workshops, and programs are taught by professional practicing artists who are well recognized in their area of expertise.

It is our goal to enrich and enlighten through creative exploration of all the artistic disciplines.

Opening Reception November 9 | 12 to 4 pm
Now Showing through November 29

The West Brookfield Historical Commission welcomes you to a retrospective of the town portraits created by local artist Jacob Knight, whose primitive style also has a unique contemporary slant.

In addition, the exhibition will include a selection of black and white photography by Worcester artist and personal friend of Jacob, Stephen DiRado, revealing a bit of Jacob’s world and his creative process.
